Privacy policy

Including information on the use of cookies. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it exclusively in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This policy explains what data we process, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.

1. Controller and Data Protection Officer

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is GreenHouse GmbH, Heinrichstraße 12, 45711 Datteln-Horneburg, Germany — phone +49 2363 731004, email info@greenhouse.de.

Our Data Protection Officer is Christian Weber, who can be reached at the above address or at info@greenhouse.de.

2. What data we process and why

Server log files. When you visit our website, our server automatically collects access data that your browser transmits — such as IP address, date and time of access, and the pages requested. This serves our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is stored only briefly and deleted at the latest after seven days; we do not combine it with other data.

Contact form & email. If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (e.g. name, company, email address and your message) solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and/or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent). We delete this data once your enquiry has been fully resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Order trial form. When you request a trial license, we process your email address, the requested product and the system information (Sysinfo output) you submit, in order to generate and send your license key. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for this purpose.

3. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies that are required for the website to function (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use analytics, tracking or marketing cookies, and we do not create user profiles.

You can delete cookies already stored and prevent the setting of cookies at any time via your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit the functionality of the website.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your personal data and do not pass it on to third parties, except where you have given consent, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where a processor acts strictly on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

5. Data security

We use TLS encryption (HTTPS) to protect data transmitted via this website and apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or manipulation.

6. Storage and erasure

We process and store personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by statutory retention periods. Once the purpose ceases and no retention obligation applies, the data is erased.

7. Your rights

As a data subject you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
